The Ducane Standard Series 1605SHLPE outdoor gas grill is priced slightly higher than the average medium-sized gas grill. It comes with twin burners, with two independent burn controls. These burners have a lifetime warranty which is an added benefit as burners are usually the most frequently replaced parts of a grill.

Unfortunately, the Ducane Standard Series 1605SHLPE outdoor gas grill doesn’t have a side burner. So you won’t be able to prepare side dishes alongside grilling the main course and will have to rely only on the 37,000 Btu/hr from the main burners.

A common complaint on a consumer report review on Ducane Standard Series gas grill is that this Ducane model tends to flare up when loaded with greasy foods. Its handle also gets a little too hot, which can be a major irritant during cooking. Another downside is that this grill lacks electronic ignition, a thermometer and a rotisserie.
